Jack Stevens returning from his annual camping vacation in the mountains discovers his car will not start. In search of help he meets Lindsey who works at the Triple-O Ranch. In the days that follow, it becomes clear that something catastrophic has happened. The entire community is affected. Something has knocked out their electricity and nearly all electronics.

Thrown into a lawless world, others join the small group at the ranch. They encounter murder and must face down desperate killers. They are consumed with surviving and finding out what has happened.

Slowly clues emerge, but as winter approaches, they still don’t know if their world will return to normal. Follow Jack and Lindsey as they cope with the end of the life they once had.
